Hero spotlight: Kria the Mother of Crows

Profile: In the "Watcher of Realms" universe, Kria stands out as a unique mage. Her exceptional power lies in her Talent ability, which allows her to summon Stormcrows after achieving a certain number of kills, increasing her damage output against nearby enemies. With one of the highest base attack stats among mages, Kria can achieve impressive total attack values when properly equipped. Her Ultimate ability, "Necrostorm Assault," may bear a resemblance to the rare hero Voltus, but it deals significantly more damage to up to 10 enemies in its range.

Skill Overview:

• Necrostorm Assault (Ultimate): Strikes enemies in range with lightning three times, dealing 100% AOE damage to up to 10 enemies each time.

Talent Overview:

• Within 10 seconds, every three enemies killed within her Basic Attack Range summons one Stormcrow. Kria and her Stormcrows deal additional damage to Slowed enemies.

Passive Skills:

• When a Stormcrow disappears, it increases the hero's damage by 3% for 9 seconds, stackable up to five times.
• When the effect of Necrostorm Assault ends, it enhances every Stormcrow on the field, increasing their ATK by 20% and enabling them to inflict Slow with each attack. This effect lasts for up to 10 seconds.

• Accessory: Soulbound Arcana (After casting the Ultimate, DMG increases by 10% permanently, stackable up to 5 times)

• Artifact: Tear of Starlight (ATK is increased by 20% when deployed. When HP is lower than 80%, the ATK increase effect is reduced to 10%) 

Second Choice:

• Weapon & Breastplate: Calamity (ATK +25%)
• Stat Focus: ATK%, CRIT%, CRIT.DMG%, ATK SPD
• Accessory: The Wisdom (After using the Ultimate, increases DMG by 35% for 10 seconds)
• Stat Focus: ATK% x 3
• Artifact: Ancestral Teachings (Increases ATK by 16% if an ally is within a 2-tile radius) 

Awakening Review: To unlock Kria's full potential, awakening her to Level 5 is essential. Key upgrades include:

• Reduces the ATK Interval of Stormcrow by 1 second.
• ATK +300
• Inflicts Vulnerability (+30% Magic Damage taken) on each enemy hit by Necrostorm Assault.
• All DMG +8%
• When the effect of Necrostorm Assault ends, there's a 50% chance to summon 1 additional Stormcrow.

Conclusion: Although Kria's skills suggest she would excel in Gear Raid I, testing has shown that it's challenging for her to secure kills, especially on difficulty Stage 19 and higher. Additionally, her Ultimate is limited to hitting only 10 enemies at a time. Therefore, it's crucial to pair her with a primary damage dealer to unleash her full potential, particularly in high-level gameplay. With the right strategy and optimization, Kria can be a game-changer in challenging stages like Gear Raid 1-20 and 1-21. However, it's worth noting that there are better alternatives for investing your Legendary Skill Crystals.
